Invest in Sight

Research to Prevent Blindness preserves and restores vision by supporting cutting-edge research into eye diseases. We provide research grants that lead to the development of treatments, preventives and cures for all conditions that damage and destroy sight.

Thanks to supporters like you, since it was founded in 1960, RPB funding has been identified with nearly every major breakthrough in vision research.

Did You Know?

  • 100% of your contribution will go toward funding critical research for improving the treatment of eye diseases, preventing blindness and restoring sight.
  • All contributions totaling up to $1 million in a calendar year will be matched through a fund established by RPB's founder, Dr. Jules C. Stein. 
  • All gifts to RPB are tax deductible. RPB is an IRS-recognized public charity.
