RPB-supported researchers have demonstrated that a new type of contact lens can deliver a therapeutic amount of a glaucoma drug every day for a month. The breakthrough, which has been pursued for decades, may pave the way for commercially available, drug-releasing contact lenses for other conditions, as well.
